Hiring: Representative New Portfolio

The Representative [New Portfolio] will be responsible for building a new portfolio – based on previous work and including existing strategic partnerships – with an emphasis on working in partnership with philanthropies and in geographies where we see growth in private or corporate philanthropy (sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia) for increased scale and learning.

In this portfolio, we see other philanthropies with long-term commitment to a geography as key partners, with the Bernard van Leer Foundation playing a strategic role in bringing early childhood knowledge and technical assistance. We plan for this portfolio to emphasize sub-Saharan Africa (+/- 50%) with the rest split between regions where we see growth of private and corporate philanthropy (and political will) such as in Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.
