The Bernard van Leer Foundation is seeking a Lead, Learning to scale who will work closely with the Knowledge for Policy Director and the Management Team to contribute strategic thinking and analysis, help create a new culture of internal monitoring and learning, and manage partnerships and projects related to learning about scaling early childhood development programmes. You will work within the Dutch office located in The Hague and report to the Knowledge for Policy Director.

The main tasks in this job are divided into two parts:

  • Developing and managing projects with external partners to document, learn from and evaluate the scaling implementation partnerships led by our Programme team.
  • Coordinate and help to evolve and drive the adoption of BvLF’s new internal monitoring process, launched in 2017 to gather data on the progress of its grant making and knowledge partnerships and using it in management decisions and communications
  • Coordinate the executive education programme for scaling early childhood policies and programmes at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, running every spring for five years until 2020.
