Urban95-inspired masters programme to launch in Turkey

Published January 28, 2019

Kadir Has University in Istanbul will launch a new Masters Programme in City and Children Studies in spring 2019, funded by the Foundation and informed by our Urban95 work in the city. The course builds on an existing module available to masters students in urban design.

Students of this interdisciplinary programme will review psychological, social, design and public administrative aspects of children’s and caregivers’ relationship to the urban environment. Public transport, air pollution and social support are among the topics that will be addressed from angles including developmental psychology, parental guidance and urban design theory.

See the Kadir Has University website for more details on the course, the Istanbul95 website for more on Urban95 in the city, and read recent media coverage in Haberler, Hurriyet, BIA and Sabar.
