Urban95 presented at urbanization summit in Kartepe

The Foundation and Urban95 partners in Istanbul presented their Istanbul95 work as a case study at the third annual Kartepe Summit, held by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in the town of Kartepe, a popular winter tourism resort a hundred kilometres east of the Turkish capital. The summit focused on urbanisation under the heading “Happy City”.

Assistant Professor Hande Sart from Boğaziçi University presented the parent support model they developed, architect Derya İyikul from SUPERPOOL presented their work on green and public spaces, and the Foundation’s Country Representative for Turkey, Yiğit Aksakoğlu, introduced the Urban95 approach.
