The State of Young Children in Israel 2015

This report provides a data-driven overview of the state of young children in Israel.

Prepared by the Israel National Council for the Child, this report presents data on children aged 0-6 in Israel – such as parental religion, poverty rates, kindergarten attendance, immunisation, and reasons for reports to child protection officers. Data is based on the statistical yearbook Children in Israel 2014, and where possible disaggregated by population group or locality.

In 2013, close to a million children aged 0-6 lived in Israel, making up 37% of the total child population.
