Template of Infant, Toddler and Caregiver Integration in Udaipur

This publication offers a set of design guidelines based on Urban95 interventions, studies and feedback, to create infant, toddler and caregiver-friendly spaces.

Prepared by ICLEI South Asia, under the guidance of the Udaipur Municipal Corporation and with the support of the Bernard van Leer Foundation, this publication is a set of design guidelines based on tactical Urban95 interventions, studies and feedback from experts, citizens, and other stakeholders in Udaipur. Aimed at architects, designers, engineers and policy makers, it sets out principles and processes for designing infant, toddler and caregiver-friendly spaces. It covers streets, parks and other public spaces, and public utilities.

The four main focus areas for Urban95 pilot interventions are green public space, mobility for families, data-driven decision-making, and parent coaching.
