Ipshita Sinha
Representative IndiaIpshita leads the Foundation’s work in India at the intersection of urban development, public health, and early childhood development. She brings over 15 years of experience across philanthropy and strategic consulting. Prior to joining the Bernard van Leer Foundation, she served as a Programme Manager at the Laudes Foundation leading the work in India on strengthening systems in support of communities and workers in supply chains. Recently, she was steering a global funders collaborative to strengthen movements working on the intersection of issues including climate change, corporate accountability, and human rights. Before entering the philanthropic world, Ipshita worked in the consulting firms Intellecap and McKinsey & Co. delving into various issues including financial inclusion and urban mobility. Ipshita holds a Masters in Business Administration from Indian School of Business (ISB) and a Bachelors in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.
