Maria Lavrado
Administrative Assistant to Programme Support and Learning
Maria is the Foundation’s Administrative Assistant for the Programme Support and Learning team, additionally providing support to the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Finance and Investment, and Director of People and Culture.
After 13 years as an Assistant Controller Administrator in the Telecommunications Department at the European Space Agency in the Netherlands, Maria is passionate about helping her team to succeed and supporting her colleagues in administrative work. She also has eight years of experience volunteering with mentally and physically disabled children and adults in her community, where she was born and raised in Massachusetts of Portuguese descent.
Maria enjoys cooking, baking, travelling, reading about human development and behaviour, and spending time with her family and friends.
