Olga CeraAssistant to Programme Director and Knowledge for Policy Director
Olga joined the Bernard van Leer Foundation as assistant to the Programme Director and Knowledge for Policy Director, providing support with project management, administration, operation, research and writing.
She has a university degree in History from the University of Naples Federico II, and an Executive Masters from SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan, focusing on management of non-profit organisations and social enterprises.
Prior to joining BvLF, Olga worked for many years with NGOs, social enterprises and cultural institutions such as the National Theatre of Naples, dealing mainly with projects on disadvantaged and marginalised adolescents, children from the Roma community, young migrants and vulnerable babies and children.
Olga comes from the beautiful Sardinia, Italy, and has been living in the Netherlands since the end of 2013. She has a strong passion for ethical fashion, second-hand goods and handicrafts. She tries to support artisans and small businesses as much as she can, and one of her goals is to have a 100% sustainable closet. She loves reading and going to theatre and art exhibitions. She is the happy mother of two children, Kostja and Ariel Nour.
