Programme Coordinator India

Siby joined the Bernard van Leer Foundation as Programme Coordinator India – working in collaboration with the Representative India – coordinating with partners and stakeholders, supporting effective progress of various programmes of the Foundation. He has a post graduate degree in Theory & Design from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology , Gujrat (India), focusing on design philosophies and an inquiry to design through history, theory and criticism.

Siby brings his experience of understanding ‘design as a culture’ in his work by taking an investigative and creative approach. Prior to joining the Foundation, he had been part of architectural consultancies and main contracting firms in various cities in India and the Middle East, gaining a holistic experience of architecture and construction.

Siby comes from Kerala, India, and has a strong passion for arts, creative writing, research and adventure sports.
