Data-driven Decision Making and Policy Development
Local administrations can increasingly draw on data to decide how they provide urban services, and strengthen communications with the populations they serve. This publication surveys best-practice examples from around the world and explores the development of the Urban95 Data-Driven Policy Tool (harita.kent95.org) to map the situations of families with young children and the services available to them in three Turkish cities – Istanbul, Izmir and Gaziantep. Published by TESEV, the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation, it is available in both English and Turkish.
