São Paulo, Brazil

We are exploring a potential partnership with city leaders in São Paulo, where a municipal law on early childhood was passed in 2017. We have participated in the ongoing development of an early childhood strategy for the city, which involves cross-sectoral collaboration among the municipal departments of education, health, social assistance, culture and mobility.

Our previous work in the city includes funding Nossa São Paulo to develop the Early Childhood Observatory, partnering with the National Association of Public Transportation (ANTP) on initiatives including the São Paulo Basics campaign, and supporting local civil society partners to create the Reference Centre for Early Childhood in Parelheiros, in the south of the city.
